If you want to become a truck driver, you should first take a course in commercial trucking. These courses last anywhere from six or seven weeks up to about ten weeks. You should also make sure you have a resume listing your commercial driving training. Update the resume frequently, including any specialized training or experience you have gained. You can also find a truck driving job on the Internet where you will have access to thousands of postings by paying a small monthly fee. You will also be able to post your resume on many of these sites where, again, hundreds of recruiters will see it.
